A great deal of development has happened over recent years, and is also planned for the future, so more places are bound to appear over time.

Restaurants in Hounslow

Eating out in Hounslow is not a problem, as there are restaurants serving food to cater for every taste. Indian restaurants are the most numerous here, with Indian Relish on Great West Road gaining repeatedly positive reviews. Mamas Nepalese Restaurant is another good place to try, and can also be found a little further down on Great West Road. Other restaurants to choose from, include Hee’s Chinese restaurant, Saigan, and Tabla which specialises in Indian fusion food.

Pubs and Bars in Hounslow

There are a number of pubs in Hounslow to have a pint or two in, with the large chains such as Wetherspoons and Yates represented. The Moon Under Water, Yates and Duke of York are all part of chains, and offer a range of drinks and a food menu which differ little from each other. Eating and drinking at these places is far from a novel experience, but at least people know what to expect. The Cross Lances on Hanworth Road is more of a regulars pub though, with cask ales, sports on TV, and live bands on Saturdays. A couple of other places worth visiting are the Black Horse and Honeycombe.

Clubs in Hounslow

If you only visit one nightclub when in Hounslow, then Club K on the High Street is the place to head for. This vibrant nightclub means that locals don’t have to travel far in order to have a good night out, and visitors to the area have a club right on their doorstep. A small VIP area means that table service is possible, but the main aim here, is to get served at coolly lit bar, and then dance the night away to switched on DJ’s playing well thought out sets. It has been designed to reflect some of the more upmarket clubs in the centre of the city of London, and its owners are rightly proud of what they have achieved. Other nearby clubs are mainly found in the Richmond area, and include Viva and Revolution Bar.

Other Entertainment in Hounslow

Bingo does still have an image problem for some people, but for others, it can be a fun night out. Gala operate a chain of bingo halls up and down the country, and the Hounslow one is on Staines Road. Membership is required, but it is easy to sign up on the door, and an evenings entertainment can be had very cheaply. House anyone? For music, plays and performances, it is worth checking out the Paul Robeson theatre on the High Street, which can seat 250 people.
